Targeted, accessible support.
Learning may be limited by costs, lack of materials, responsibilities at home, disability-related obstacles and limited access to skills training. LCMF proposes to complement schools and existing local systems rather than replace them.
Proposed areas of intervention
- Literacy support, school readiness, supplementary materials and mentoring
- Girls’ education participation, menstrual health information and personal-development activities
- Practical vocational and digital skills, employment readiness and financial literacy
- Scholarship, bursary or referral pathways where eligible programmes or funding exist
Education partnerships
Activities will be designed with schools, parent committees, mothers’ clubs, education authorities and appropriately qualified facilitators. School calendars and child-safeguarding standards will guide delivery.
More than activity numbers.
Msundwe girls’ education and menstrual dignity.
LCMF is preparing a three-month pilot with a proposed reach of 100 vulnerable adolescent girls. The plan includes consultations, relevant health education, suitable product access and follow-up—not a claim that kits have already been distributed.
